In October of 2009, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe played an integral role in the 5th National Community Prosecution Conference held in Los Angeles. D.A. Zugibe was selected to participate from hundreds of leading prosecutors because of his successful Community Prosecution initiative formulated in Rockland.

Part of D.A. Zugibe's initiative, which he unveiled in Los Angeles, was one of the first community prosecution based web sites in the nation. It has already proved itself as an effective tool as part of the office's proactive approach in helping its towns and villages solve crime problems and safety concerns.

The site which was built with Joomla CMS software, includes a configurable news slider to display recent articles, a press release download area and numerous multimedia and social networking modules that help the office spread their message even further across the world-wide web.
